Lead Agilist (Senior Scrum Master) | Cincinnati, OH

We're partnering with a leading financial services organization seeking a Lead Agilist to support Agile delivery teams and help drive successful project outcomes. This individual will serve as a senior-level Scrum Master, coaching teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing roadblocks, and promoting continuous improvement across the organization.

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Work Arrangement: Onsite 4 days per week

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Compensation: $55-$70/hr

What You'll Do

• Coach and support Agile teams on Scrum principles and best practices
• Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions
• Partner closely with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize backlogs
• Identify, manage, and remove team impediments
• Drive collaboration across stakeholders, teams, and leadership groups
• Promote continuous improvement through Agile metrics and feedback loops
• Support dependency management and risk identification efforts
• Foster self-organizing, high-performing teams focused on delivering business value
• Mentor team members and help strengthen Agile maturity across the organization

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Agile and Scrum experience
• Strong experience serving as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach
• Proven ability to remove impediments and navigate issues outside the immediate team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong coaching, facilitation, and mentoring abilities
• Experience influencing stakeholders and driving team accountability

Preferred Qualifications

• PI Planning experience
• Experience working within large enterprise environments
• Financial services or banking experience is a plus
• Exposure to scaled Agile frameworks
