Job Description

Salary: $63,000 - 94,500 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree preferred; equivalent coursework, relevant experience, or extensive related professional experience may also be considered.
• 7–10 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong technical expertise in security concepts, programming, web application security, and API integrations.
• Skills in security practices, incident response, and security incident response.
• Experience with SentinelOne, Swimlane, Elastic, or Rapid7 is desirable.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for security operations, alert triage, enrichment, and response workflows.
• Design and build internal web applications that support security operations.
• Integrate, configure, and troubleshoot security platforms through APIs.
• Work with team leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and address tooling and process gaps affecting SOC effectiveness.
• Mentor junior SOC engineers and analysts in secure configuration, Python automation, API usage, and web application security fundamentals.
• Evaluate and prototype security technologies, integrations, and automation opportunities, and recommend improvements to SOC capabilities.
• Develop and refine SOC processes, runbooks, and documentation related to configuration management and tooling.
• Use independent judgment on significant technical and operational matters, and take initiative to make improvements and fix bugs.
• Analyze data to generate insights and support operational decisions.
• Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.
